Roofmax is licensed in the State of California as both a Roofing Contractor (C-39) and as a General Building Contractor (B). This is important because many times during a project an issue could arise which would require an additional license of trade classification. Examples of this could include dry rot repairs, electrical work, change orders for additional work requested i.e.. siding, skylights, repairing broken rafters, awnings, insulation, pitch changes, etc.

Our overall goal is to help our clients, as if they were our own family! ROOFMAX will only install quality products and roofing systems. We employ superior craftsmanship techniques and provide continuing education for all employees. We are not only interested in 100% customer satisfaction, but we have developed a zero defects policy and want our homeowners to become more than happy. We want them to become our Raving Fans!

To help with the idea of treating our clients like they are family members we have incorporated the project manager as a personal liaison to the owner. We have also trained our roof consultants to do thorough inspections during the initial meeting. Yes, this means they will need access to your attic space. We also have pre-job walks and zero defect inspections after the job is complete.

As we evolved into a full service roofing company we recognized that we could do a better job of ?roof removal? than any of the subcontracting companies who we were dealing with. Early in 1994 we started Roofmax Removal. Roofmax Removal had a customer base of mostly roofing contractors who hired us to prepare the surface for the roofing work to be done. We have also done removal for a few brave homeowners here and there. Of course Roofmax was our largest client.

We now have limited our roof removal to a few select roof replacement companies and of course our own Roofmax customers.

In the process of removing literally thousands of roofs since 1987, Roofmax has made a very important discovery for homeowners. Most of the roof deck damage is located where the gutters are attached to the roof. Many times the roof is still in relatively good condition and yet it needs to be replaced because the eaves are rotted.

When downspouts are clogged and gutters are full, water backs up under the shingles and starts the dilapidation of the eaves, sheeting, fascia, and sometimes the rafters. We are constantly looking for ways to improve the service we offer to our customers. Last year we attended the International Roofing Expo in Orlando , Florida specifically looking for knowledge and information that would help solve this problem.
